This year, The Mulberry Centre is celebrating 25 years of supporting people affected by cancer in the local community.  9 years ago, I was one of the unlucky ones and received a devastating cancer diagnosis……. but I was very lucky to have been able to use the services of the Mulberry Centre who supported me both physically and mentally during my treatment and recovery.  

To mark the 25 year milestone, I am taking part in the Zip Wire Challenge at Twickenham Stadium on 18 October.

I will be taking part in this challenge with Cheryl Marriott (my partner in crime). We have spent many an hour watching rugby,  making great memories at the stadium and now we’ll be seeing it from a different perspective! We’ll be raising vital funds to help The Mulberry Centre continue providing free emotional, practical and wellbeing support.

We have taken part in a few challenges raising funds for various cancer charities over the past 9 years and have raised over £28 000 to date. My fundraising target for this event is £500+ and every donation will help ensure the Mulberry Centre can continue supporting individuals and families when they need it most.
